My husband and I stayed in Helios last week for 6 nights, and I couldn't recommend it more. Once we arrived the staff were very helpful and checked us in promptly. The reception was very modern and clean and everything was up to date. Once we got to our room, it was very very pleasant, well decorated and immaculately clean, with maid service in rooms everyday. We had a small problem late on in the first night, but the hotel fixed it promptly, and even gave us a free upgrade. The new room, was good as the previous one, the difference there was a swimming pool view, which was good as it was quieter than the street view - as the main street is full of nightclubs. The hotel location is perfect, I'd say 3 minutes away from the beach. All staff were friendly and always helpful. The hotel bar offers a good range of cocktails which cost about 5.90 euros each, and beers from 2.50 euros. Regarding the half board, the food served was decent, different variety of food and always seemed freshly made. As someone who doesn't like to be eating the same food everyday, I would recommend to book room only or breakfast. Overall, it's a must stay hotel. I'd highly recommend.

The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. They were generally well equipped, including air con, a safe for valuables, a decent sized fridge and a hair dryer (though I can't vouch for the efficacy of the latter). One slight gripe, there was no tea/coffe making facility. The hotel has its own pool, but we didnt use it at all so can't comment further. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. We paid separately for breakfast. It was self serve buffet style, very good value with an enormous range of cooked and continental foods on offer. The hotel is in the heart of so called 'party street', so there were lots of clubs, bars, restauraunts. It was a short 5 -10 minute stroll to the beach. So very conveniently located. I am more than happy to recommend this hotel to others.
